SERVICES I am a professional freelance proofreader and editor offering a friendly, reliable and efficient editorial service to publishers, authors, businesses, academics and students (including those for whom English is their second language). I am happy to consider any subject, although my particular areas of interest include fiction, poetry, music, philosophy, psychology, genealogy, law and education.

EXPERIENCE I have worked with several publishers and authors, and am experienced in proofreading and editing children's books, adult fiction, teenage fiction, autobiographies, short stories, classic fiction, non-fiction and poetry. I also have a strong background in editing undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, PhD theses, business documents and membership magazines. The students with whom I have worked are often from overseas and so English is not their first language; therefore, I have been able to assist them using my ESL editing skills and improve the overall readability of their work.
