SERVICES
I am a professional freelance proofreader and editor offering a friendly, reliable and efficient editorial service to publishers, authors, businesses, academics and students (including those for whom English is their second language).
I am happy to consider any subject, although my particular areas of interest include fiction, poetry, music, philosophy, psychology, genealogy, law and education.

EXPERIENCE
I have worked with several publishers and authors, and am
experienced in proofreading and editing children's books,
adult fiction, teenage fiction, autobiographies, short stories, classic fiction, non-fiction
and poetry. I also have a strong background in editing undergraduate and postgraduate
dissertations, PhD theses, business documents and membership magazines. The students with whom
I have worked are often from overseas and so English is not their first language; therefore,
I have been able to assist them using my ESL editing skills and improve the overall readability of
their work.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Perhaps you are an aspiring author, a student preparing your final dissertation, or a doctor who has written a medical journal... However many times you read and re-read your work, mistakes will slip through, as you will become accustomed to seeing what you want to see. I will be able to read your work with a fresh and professional eye, correcting any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors, and, if required, also check factual consistency, sentence structure, choice of vocabulary and overall readability.
Please get in touch to discuss your individual requirements and I would be more than happy to help.
