EXPERIENCE
Paul
Barnett entered publishing in
1969, rising to become Editorial
Director or Commissioning Editor
of various companies before
turning freelance in 1980. Since
then he has edited several
hundred books, for dozens of
publishers, while also writing
over fifty (mainly under the nom
de plume John Grant); he has
received the Hugo Award, the
World Fantasy Award, the Locus
Award, the Mythopoeic Society
Scholarship Award, the J. Lloyd
Eaton Scholarship Award and a
rare British Science Fiction
Association Special Award. His
main fields of specialization are
fantasy/science fiction, crime,
and the cinema, especially
animation. Since 1997 he has been
the Commissioning Editor at Large
for Paper Tiger, the world's
leading publisher of fantasy/sf
art books. He is married to
Pamela D. Scoville, Director of
the Animation Art Guild.
