EXPERIENCE I have worked on a wide range of publications for mainstream publishers and also children's fiction and non-fiction for a smaller local company. I have worked to tight schedules editing financial journals where a very quick turnaround was necessary. I work on students' essays, dissertations and theses and offer a 10% discount for these. I edited and proofread a book for the Wainwright Society to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first publication of Alfred Wainwright's pictorial guides. I am a member of the SfEP and have the Publishing Training Centre certificate in Proofreading. I am currently on the penultimate unit of their copy-editing course.

QUALIFICATIONS I have the Certificate in Humanities from the Open University. Member of the Society of Indexers for 5 years. Word processing: Stage III (Distinction), 60 wpm. European Computer Driving Licence.
