Interests include film, music, history, politics, sociology, fiction (particularly existentialist pulp/noir) and all branches of the arts, humanities and social sciences - including academic theory at its most abstruse!

EXPERIENCE  While researching my PhD, I was also articles editor of a peer-reviewed journal, which entailed copy editing, fact checking and liaising with authors. This is where I developed the taste for proofreading in general. I have ten years' experience in market research, which included proofreading and report writing on projects ranging from biodiversity to anti-social behaviour. I currently mark ESOL exams three times a year, as well as providing the kinds of services itemised above.
